noone1:If a Porsche 919 doesn't even sound good, how could a 488? The best thing that could happen to turbo cars are transmission whine and e-motor whine.
McLaren has always been turbo-ed and they are one of the best sounding V8 turbo cars, loud, muscular.
Mercedes AMGs are also another example, they also have great sounding V8 turbo engines.

I still like the 488 sound better than the McLaren sound but agreed, after the AMG and 488 models, the McLarens win in the "turbo department". Fourth comes Porsche with the current 991.2 Carrera GTS, best Porsche turbo sound ever.

I know but I cannot afford it. Lease is way too expensive and buying it would mean to sell some of my stock and I am not willing to do that, it is too risky. You know very well that the business in which we are in, isn't exactly the best right now. Unless you are willing to go big but I am scared of that.

Are you sure. Peformante is the perfect car for you, Christian. As I said before, I looked at one and it was the dogs bollocks ..The sound of it must be immense..

,,, I know exactly what you mean. It’s like sitting in a racing seat in a arcade amusement park.... And the buckets seats are mega hard. If you got a fit tight arse it’ll be even harder. Big fat arse and all is cool ...Maybe..

The Performante is the perfect car for me. I know that. A buddy of mine took delivery of his Performante Spyder recently and I almost cried, no kidding. I'm not a fan of the Spyder but I love this car. My buddy will occasionally let me drive the Spyder (once it is run in) but using cars which belong to others is not really fun for me (I do that on a regular basis, Aventador, CGT, GT3...), I need to know that this is my car. Sounds weird? I know, especially considering that I lease my cars but I need to know I can drive it when and wherever I want. Also, I am way too cautious with cars which don't belong to me (probably the reason I get to drive them because people know that) and this sometimes is a bit stressful. Also the fact that I sometimes get the impression (just me) that I get to drive these cars just because they (buddies) pity me. I know this is probably a false perception but I feel a bit bad and don't want to think I take advantage of them (never actually told them, I hope they don't read this now ).
How about starting a collection for me? I bet that if some of the wealthiest users here jump in, I could get a Performante in no time.
Just kidding...but reality is, I have to set priorities and family comes first, can't blow money out of the window for cars. Not right now, maybe never.

I love it but why does it look like a SUV? (ride height)
Even my E63 is lower...
Is this some sort of chassis lift?

The speedo is often not accurate, so I wouldn't really consider these values to be true.
2.5? Maybe. This would already be amazing for a 2WD car. 2.2? Very unlikely.

EnglishManInNY:Compared to the regular 488 it looks v special.
No matter how it looks, I really like the Pista. Would always get one over the 720S or the GT2 RS and I'm not even a big Ferrari fan.

Notwithstanding its performance potential which must be huge, it doesn't look attractive or impressive.
It is a very busy design that is neither stunning nor memorable.
What has happened to the exquisite and timeless Italian designs?
Sorry, but McLaren do it better styling-wise!

"Porsche....and Nothing else matters"
I hear you, hunterone and reginos. Though I wouldn't call a Pista "ugly" and although better than the standard car, I think Ferrari tries too hard with their special editions. I already thought this of the Speciale (and the Scuderia), the Pista is no different.
Still the best for me:
