Nick is more of a poser than enthusiast, since the 599 doesn't comein open roof form then it doesn't suit the starbucks image. The 149 will definitely come with an open top version to suit Nick

Was offered one turned it down. Need it to be topless. But to be honest, I remain wary of front engine Ferrari's.

Your reading my mind. Time to do a total makeover. However, the one rule is it must look hot, sexy and very sporty.

He couldn't afford the beautiful 599. He spend his last penny on his precious F430 (his "surrogate baby")...that's why he's so fixated on resale value.

Bye bye David, time for a vacation from the forum.

You have been warned way too many times and yet you have chosen to continue to get personal with other members regardless, like the above quoted post were there isn't even a provocation. Rennteam is not that kind of forum.

Thank goodness but why just a vacation, imho this should be permanent. Thanks Carlos.

    Re: Thought on the 149

Don't like to have to be the one to play the "bad guy" but we have to look for the forum's and its member's best interest, so usually that tends to get the point across quite well finally, lets give him a month or so, but a 2nd offense after that, as small as it may be, and he will not be welcomed anymore to this forum, it will be permanent.

    Re: Thought on the 149

    Thanks Carlos, wise decision.

I am taking the opportunity to candidly thank you for investing so much time (and I am not even talking about money!) in monitoring Rennteam , I do not know how you guys manage it, at the moment I have barely the time to come here every two days. .

I could imagine the smug look on Berry's face berry, berry, berry, berry lalalalalala we did it

    Re: Thought on the 149

lets not joke about it. In this case Nberry did the right thing, he did not reply to the attack with another attack and let the moderators handle the situation.

If the two parties would have been involved I would have had to take action against both sides, so best to stay calm, and not let oneself get dragged in to the incident and involved, which makes the moderator's job a lot easier.

Honestly, I do not like to see this happen. I know we all have disagreements about cars but that is what a chat site is all about; various opinions and views about cars. But for some reason he took it far beyond cars making it personal and poisonous. If not stopped, it would encourage others to believe it is appropriate behavior. I tried to nudge him toward civility but his animus toward me was all too consuming. I still don't understand why. Because I criticize Porsche? My god it is only a car.

    Re: Thought on the 149

Nick, you are a master at walking on the edge but never crossing it with some of your provocative posts. However, they are never a personal attack and more than often have substance. I guess the lawyer training is showing!

As you said, these forums are to voice your personal opinion, whether people like it or not...
