Conny997:No bigger tank optional available. 68 liters is to small over all, but fuel consumption in normal driving is at 12 Liters/100 km. So you can live with it.
How many km do you have now? I finally did 2900 km yesterday (came back from Italy) and today, the car is getting the mandatory rear axle oil exchange. So far, no issues (knock on wood). I had an issue with Apple CarPlay (sometimes it disconnected without a reason) but apparently, it was the lightning cable, it was damaged.

You drive "normal"? 
I had a 12-13 l / 100 km fuel consumption during break-in, when I drove a constant 140 kph on the Autobahn. 
I am surprised however that on average, the E63's fuel consumption is under 18 liters (considering my driving style and the fact that I drive 99% of the time in Sport+ only).

Well, for professional reasons I had to drive the whole last week with the G63. So I must confess that the M5 has just 1.200 km on the odo and therefore it’s still in break in. This in mind you can extrapolate what “normal” driving should be. But had a lot of full accelerations (limited at 5.5000 U/min of course) Autobahn driving at the allowed limit 170 kp/h and approximately 40% city commuting. All in all with an average consumption at 12 liters. Not bad so far. Driving of course also in sport+. Why? In this position and flaps open you have a very nice sound with a lot of backfires. Not to loud but loud enough. 
Have to admit: the sound is a lot deeper as we’re used from the F10. It’s still the typical s63 (BMW code) engine sound but it sounds more mature.i really like it.

In last minute change I decided to order Competition package. Delivery is next week. Change the color to Bluestone Metallic. Competition package wheels, full Black leather interior.
I had a opportunity to drive normal M5 and Competition package recently at the same time. To be honest did not felt that big difference. M5 is still IMO the best power sedan on the market currently. But, it is not the sportscar. To be clear, neither is Panamera Turbo or GTS.

M5 Competition is such a great car and IMHO together with E63s the ideal family car.

Easy to do on turbo cars. ECU modulate the boost pressure to max torque output over.a really broad rpm range.

My F10 M5 pulled like a train from about 1500 to just before redline. Torque is where the fun is.

Some pics of your car would also be nice because so far most cars I‘ve seen in person and/ or on pics haven either black or grey!
