    Nice information. Does anyone know if (a) the standard stereo still allows use of SD cards in place of CD's and (b) is the standard engine hatch still louvered ??

    More civilized for everyday use. Goal is to achive similar feel to PCCBs on Porsche 997 Turbo or GT2.

    They are also different in size and use new discs and calipers.

    Looks like I am not the only who thinks the car is rather expensive when you add the options. I could get a base car, but I will never be happy without the options that I know I can get. Things like clear engine cover, CF trimmings etc are essential in my opinion. But it just gets too expensive. F430 is quite a bit cheaper actually...

    Yeah I guess with full option it will be the same too...but at least you don't have to pay for clear glass on a F430!

    No you do not. You just get climate control from 1997 Fiat Punto... Ok, Lambo one is at least sourced from Audi A8...

    Bottom line is, I can't afford the LP560/4 that I want. And I have absolutely no interest in a F430 anyway so it's irrelevant. Maybe I will buy a used one in a couple of years. Can someone in Australia buy the pearl white, sequential gearbox, nav, parking camera, tv tuner, black 19 inch wheels, clear engine cover, full CF trims, parking sensors, ceramic brakes, sports package, branding package, alcantara steering wheel as a minimum level of option, and sell it to me later? Hehe.

    Maybe this is why Audi is building the R8 V10. It's for people like me who lust after the LP560/4, then realise that I can't quite stretch that far with those bloody expensive options, then realise that R8 V10 is almost a LP560/4 anyway, and not lose the sale to another marque. Hmmm...

    Or I could just move to the US and afford to buy 2 of them...double hmmm!!!

    Hmm... If you truly want LP560-4 here is my advice regarding options:

    -e.Gear(personally I would go for manual. But, that's me...)
    -Navigation
    -Branding package
    -Heated seats
    -Style Packaage

    Grigio Thalasso Metalic exterior(Rich Silver metallic)
    Nero Persues Leather with Arancio Leonis stitching
    Standard Apollo wheels
    Standard brakes

    Best thing is if you decide to sell this car in two-three years you will be able to do it in split second!

    As alternative you can choose Arancio Borealis 3-leyer exterior color...

    ...or wait for R8 V10 which will use 525hp enigne. Not soo fast(just 315km/h...) and not that expensive or exclusive...
    BUT, it will be almost as good...

    BTW WAY (no pun intended). What are the odds of getting caught if you feel like trying out "not soo fast" speeds on a deserted Australian road in the middle of nowhere? And what's the penalty?

    I don't think he'd get caught. The cop would probably be too busy gawking and tapping on the LIDAR screen, trying to decide what went wrong with the gun .

    NO. Grigio Antares is color from Murci LP640 range.

    Grigio Thalasso is replacment for Grigio Altair from MY08. Grigio Lynx is replacment for Grigio Proteus from MY08.

    Nice spec! I will have to find out about importing privately here...just out of curiousity, how much would that spec set you back in the UK?

    I've not had a price confirmation as yet. I was told at the Geneva show that the basic UK price would be around Pounds142k so with those extras I think it will be around the mid to high Pounds150k's.

    Thats great news Kreso. I always hated how the ceramics on my nera felt at slow speeds.
