    Here are some new pictures I took today. The quality isn't that great, weather was pretty bad, car was dirty AND I took these with my brand new camera (Sony @350 DSLR). It's my first DSLR so the pictures might be a little bit off in the beginning. My apologies for that.

    Hey, doing a round Europe trip with the Porsche Club GB 997 guys in August - fancy meeting up to compare against my RS-Tuning 'puny' 800Nm Turbo?

    (there will be a GT2 with us too)

    Looking really good, Rami! I forgot to ask you whether you'd noticed any issues with scraping the front end with the new GT2 bumper especially when compared to the stock 997TT bumper?

    No scraping so far Jason. But the car isn't lowered yet!
    I don't think it's that much of a difference with the turbo bumper tho.

    Foglights are gone indeed ... just like on the orignal GT2.
    To be honest ... I use front foglights approx once a year here.

    What did you do with the original front?
    Would it fit on a regular S like mine?

    The original front is still mine but I plan to sell it to my dealer. If you like I can ask if it's an easy fit for a 997S?

    A friend of mine has done a retrofit of a 997turbo front and back on his 997s.. so it's possible allright!

    Rami, that turbo looks MEAN, still think those rims are looking good, but the OZ's will make the picture perfect!

    Hi Rami,

    Congrats! Didn't know you had a Turbo Cab on the way and you still have your Murcie roadster coming. You're doing great for yourself, that is awesome!

    I'm confused though, which car are you modifying the Coupe or the Cab?

    Rami sold the 997TT coupe and currently drives the cabrio.

    Is that type of front license plate legal in belgium?
    btw, the only tip I could give you in the photography department: Try making pictures in the netherlands!

    I've never been to the Netherlands but if Joost thinks that'd be a good idea then it might be worth a try. How far is it from Belgium to the Netherlands?

    LOL, Jason, it is not that I think it will result in better pictures, but at least I will be able to see the beast!
    There are some nice sceneries though to function as background in NL.

    That front plate looks designed to mislead speed cameras (nice I = 1 trick)...

    That's actually funny, because when I drove to Brussels in January, I had rain from Köln to Aachen, but as soon as I crossed the Dutch border, everything was dry and sunny . Even funnier, after crossing through the Netherlands, reaching the Belgian border, it started raining again .

    If they are bull-headed, they will just reference the plate against the database. I much prefer a good detector and laser jammer, along with a GPS database of stationary speed traps.

    However, good eye on the plate. I knew that his last car had a somewhat different plate, but didn't think much of it.

    Hey Mike,

    I'm a sucker to that 'open-air feeling' man ... that's why I eventually chose for the LP640 Roadster in stead of the coupé. I have that much more fun when I can drive open air.
    Problem is that with the current (idiotic) soft top for the Murci you need to be VERY sure that the weather isn't going to turn when you drive out.
    In the end that was the reason why I sold the 997 turbo coupé ... that way when the weather is good (decent) I can still drive open air in the Porsche ... and when it's REALLY good the Murci will come out to play

    In winter time the Murci won't come out much (the Porsche has a hard top) BUT I'm the first on the list for that new Genaddi carbon fibre hardtop for the Murci. If that works out fine I will drive the car more frequently of course.

    The license plate isn't to mislead speed camera's. In Belgium they mainly take shots from your rear plate.
    It's just for the fun ... for as long as it lasts that is
