Perfect spec for the 911 Touring! Looks really great in that color combo. Elegant, yet sporty and understated. Also love the fabric seats. They are just so comfortable in all temperatures, keep you from sliding in the seat and will wear much better than leather

Congratulations on a stunning 911 GT3 Touring and welcome to Robograd!
Great to see your first post only 4 years after originally joining Rennteam!
Hope you enjoy driving your new car even more up to 9000rpm!
Looking forward to more new models from the GT department...

Err, cough, cough! Yes BCGTS, guilty; I’ve been a “lurker” on here for quite a long time & been very impressed by the obvious civility of Rennteam (for an Internet forum😉). Once again, thanks for the warm welcome from everyone.
What has really surprised me about the Touring was the reaction of the Germans in Stuttgart & beyond to what is an essentially ‘stealthy’, & low key 911, in an area of Germany where the population must suffer ongoing Porsche-fatigue! Appreciative nods & knowing glances from passing pedestrians, plus knowledgable conversations with fellow motorists at petrol stops, certainly exceeded reaction to my previous GT3s in Bavaria: so much so that I may reconsider my intention to put decals on the car. After all, reduced attention was my intended aim - if such a thing is ever possible with a 911 - so it may have been a forlorn hope 🙄.
Incidentally, have other GT3T owners noted any of the above reactions from Joe Public?

I would stick with the no decals - but these things are deeply personal. Kindly confirm the colour of the exterior.
Looks like we have a sudden glut of deliveries. Here is my stealth/retro GT3 Touring contribution. Note these are some quick iPhone shots, and the car has not been detailed. Flat Black. Carbon and leather interior. Pepita inserts and 918 seats and piping. Satin aluminium wheels. The wheels are nowhere near as shiny as they appear in these shots. I could not be happier with the interior - hard to capture its full effect in these iPhone photos. Initial driving impressions are in line with what you have heard / seen before. The sound is wonderful above 4K. I'm surprised by how light the clutch is. The steering feels much better weighted and informative than in my 991.1 GT3RS. Gear change top notch as always with a Porsche.
watt:love those seats - wonder if those peptic inserts are available to replace the stripes?
Yes, you can get real or replica pepita (and other) cushions, but they are expensive. They are only held in with velcro, so easy to swap.
18 GT3 Manual, 73 Carrera RS 2.7 Carbon Fiber replica (1,890 lbs), 06 EVO9 with track mods. Former: 16 Cayman GT4, 73 911S, Two 951S's, 996 C2, 993 C2, 98 Ferrari 550, 79 635CSi
Except for the silver on the outside, for the way I would use the car, I would take the car exactly as you have spec it , down to the leather around the vents . Congratulations
Something I don't understand about my seat order on my RS . I wanted to change the green inserts for black ones ..... I was denied . Porsche said not possible anymore . Does not make any sense ....
