    GT-R En Route

    I just received official word from my dealer that I am getting my GT-R this summer. I am one of two to get one this year. MSRP, of course.

    Wow, that is great! Getting it at MSRP is quite a feat.

    It seems like MSRP deals outside of California are starting to creep up.

    I read some stuff on autoblog that Nissan is trying some interesting tactics to get dealers to stick with selling cars at MSRP instead of at a markup.

    I am going with Gun Metallic with the dark wheels, Premium Pack, I-Pod and floormats. That's completely loaded. The color is similar to Seal Grey; maybe a little darker.

    Prices are all over the map, but many are paying anywhere from $7,500-$20,000 over. If I don't like the car, I don't think that I'll have a problem selling it nor do I think that I'll lose on it. So, I'll give it a try.
