    My 2 cents--just don't forget 2 very inexpensive options:

    CUV: Almost everyone here has it. Besides the logo, it also adds the stitching. Purely cosmetic but "unsettling" if you don't have it and see a car that does, especially since it's so cheap.

    XPA: Thick sport steering wheel. Hands are on this every second you're in the car so to me a MOST critical choice. I love holding on to the steering wheel, feeling the meaty rim and the soft leather against my skin.

    Agreed with the Groom: No need to paint lips/rocker panels if the car is black. Door finisher in leather is another inexpensive option at a place that you look at a lot.

    Strong vote to deviate carpet in addition to getting black floor mats. Red carpet on the side wall does NOT look too nice to me. Way too much red inside and black carpet would provide much nicer contrast for the red leather. Just my personal opinion, YMMV.

    Strong vote for Red tail lights. 2 friends looked at the back of my car and asked why it looked so "cool". I said stare at the lights. IMO, the all red makes a very noticable difference on black cars. Additionally, I bought mine from Suncoast for $465 ish and installed myself in 5 minutes and now I have a spare set of the oem lights.

    Also, regarding the interior, my biggest mistake was not addressing the PCM. Very stupid decision for a few grand more not to finish it in leather (or painted black to match my rear seats). The small CF package looks nice and is cheap. Thicker wheel is a 100% must, and for me, as I adjust the volume constantly, the Multi Function steering wheel is a feature I would not want to live with out.

    CUV is logo on the center armrest + visible stitching on the sides. If you order the rear console in leather (XMZ), you must order CUV so that the stitching on the armrest matches the stitching on the rear console.

    An alternative is CPT, which is the same thing as CUV, but with a large Porsche crest instead of the "turbo" logo.



    It is also recommended to order CFA on a Tiptronic car (CDZ on a manual) to get visible stitching around the gear selector (CDZ: behind the shifter boot). It completes the look. A full leather interior is a complete package, and it takes just a few tiny omissions to ruin it.

    Do the Y on the multi-function steering wheel in leather. It is classier than the standard grey plastic. Option code CDW.

    Not gonna bother with multi function wheel, i prefer the look of the wheel with the round center rather than the triangular one.... will certainly go for the logo in the center armrest.... going in tomorrow to sit in a car and just have a look and poke around so i can just point things out that i want

    CUV adds the "turbo" in script form and as the Groom noted above, adds nice looking stitch line to the lid (thanks to the Groom or Easy Rider for pointing this out--you guys are awesome). Totally cosmetic and not even in your line of sight normally, but to me is like "a rite of passage" to TT ownership. Just kidding. Cheap, lots of people have it (turbo script, NOT the crest), and a PITA to order afterwards.

    I used my budget for PCCB and cut way back on interior options. CUV & XPA are the only things I added. Would have done door finisher in leather too (another cheap option) but my leather is beige and I was afraid that area would get dirty easily.

    I see that you've already decided to stick with the Sport steering wheel. Please make absolutely sure that you have the *THICK* version (XPA here in the US). A very important decision and BY FAR the most cost effective option in my car. I love holding the steering wheel at the thick thumb rest areas!

    IMHO, any option that you are 50/50 about, get it. Stretch your budget until the wife, or S.O., *screams* "no more" and then add a couple more behind her back. Kidding again. The car is something very special and all the budget worry seems meaningless the moment I step on the gas pedal. I often think "wish I had spent more on this baby."
