years ago, when my boys where younger, I have taken them to a drift course on Hockenheimring. It was very fun for me and them. The children will remember such events long long time.
I like to be a daddy who creates fun for his children. Everytime some of my boys sends me a message with the question "can I take your GT3RS for a short drive" my answer "for sure - take care and enjoy". If you trust them they wont abuse you.

Lucky you. My boy are not the least interested in driving my Porsches. Actually he prefers to walk.

You were lucky they let you drive with a kid. Tried that two years ago (son was 10) during a pretty normal driving event, nothing to achieve record times or whatever and it was not possible, he had to wait with a friend's wife outside the track and he was pretty sad.

My boy would drive with me all day long, especially in the Shelby (he is scared and he loves it 
). Even my daughter loves driving with me but only because she can tell me about her life (she claims I do not always listen to her when I'm at home 
) and I cannot run away.

Christian ,in fact i know now kids can pass pitlane only when are 16 years old.
But sunday was a parade before the start of the Blancpain race,and in front of us(a lot in front ) there was a Saftey car,so they let me take aboard Aleardo,there are some fastest video too in other place of the track,but i prefer to not show them online...

That is pretty cool . I am not sure I will trust them driving the RS at 18 years old. But who knows once I get there .
They are not very much interested to be passengers at the moment ( aged 11 to 13 ) , only if it is to take them somewhere that they have to go, but not for a fun drive

That is pretty cool . I am not sure I will trust them driving the RS at 18 years old. But who knows once I get there .
They are not very much interested to be passengers at the moment ( aged 11 to 13 ) , only if it is to take them somewhere that they have to go, but not for a fun drive
mine are 19 and 23 - the younger takes much more care and is driving slowly - the older one - you can hear him driving even when he is 1 km away - but both take care and I am confident in their responsibility they have when driving such a car

I am going (seldom) to a club where my son and his friends are hanging up, every time he or his friends meet me, we have a nice time - drinking (moderate) and laughing together. Today we can exchange our clothes, music. I like to freeride (ski) and both of my sons ask me every time if I could pickup him up on the way to the Alps. They enjoy to make holiday with me or with the family. All this I couldn´t imagine the time I was 20 or so with my dad. Time has changed.

I totally agree - but still I think we are programmed to revolt against our parents.
I think todays parents has som much in common with the youngsters that it is difficult for the them to revolt.

Sound good. I also freeride with mines ... but always wonder until what age they will want to . I try to stay close
