I dont know what to say, i like the aerokit but i wished it was diferent from the previous generation.Maybe live looks great.Didnt like too much the design of the GT3 until i saw my friends gt3 live.It rocked.
Porsche's look great in photo but look even better live.(I'm still stunned by a 993 turbo i saw this past summer)

-Dont know the name but i think it's a new color and if not wrong was introduced with the turbo cabrio (i think it's the same color that shows in several turbo cabrio oficial promotional photos when the car was introduced)

I had that very same experience with the 993 turbo. I never liked the looks of the wing in pictures, untill I saw it in real life... I was blown away!
I think that is the macadamia brown btw.

Would be nice to have an __optional__ Turbo Aero Kit which featured a big wing and a stock Turbo which had a "hidden" wing exactly like the 997/S.
I'm not cruisin' for babes and so would like to drive a major HP Porsche that doesn't have a silly (for me) wing on it.
I'm 40-something and believe the wing, on a road car, is for younger guys who want to show off in their cars.
Now, if the car is an earlier Turbo with a whale-tail which hides engine components, then THAT's okay.
Check out our stock TT wing-age on the rear deck. It's a lot of HOLLOW space. No reason Porsche couldn't have hidden the wing like they did for the NA 997/S Carrera for "normal" driving.
Geez, I'm gonna look like an even bigger [fill in blank] driving this thing when my hair starts really going grey.
Heck..., all I want is a Carrera which has the PROPER amount of horsepower.
Why does Porsche think it MUST have a big a**ed stock wing? Why not make the preponderant wing an option avail with Aero-kit?
Too late now..., unless there's a company willing to develop and sell a rear deck for the TT with a retractible spoiler. yeah right..., that's got zero chance of happening.

LOL MMD, your old frustration about the wing coming up again? I thought you got over that! 
No pun intended.
I think the spoiler RUF used for one of it's recent models (was it the tuned 996tt? Was somewhat less obtrusive, more referring to the looks of the '73 rs... Looked kin of odd though.

I was coming back to the car the other day and the light was just right on the car BUT it seemed to emphasize the wing! Aghast, I exclaimed to myself, "Holy Sheet! Why am I driving a 'kid's' car?!" AWWWWGGGH!
I'm loving everything about our TTs, while almost totally wing-tolerant and then I get a unusual wing-stimulus which triggers an annoying eruption from my subconscious.
Gotta be a pill for that, right?

Hey MMD, maybe if this helps you:
You say you don't drive a car to attrackt chicks with... you're old enogh to be past that. On the other hand, you seem to be quite bothered by what others might think of the looks of your car. Just enjoy the car, and people will notice. If you don't bother about the wing, others won't either.
