...Limited Edition of 356? ...or 911? ...or 991? ...or how about 1948 cars for the 70-year anniversary?
That 4.0-litre Porsche Motorsport flat-six will sound epic at 9,000rpm in an open top Speedster!

I advised my dealer I wanted one though uncertain I will like it when launched.
Not sure when it will be available hopefully sometime next year. Then I will have a decision to make. Keep the RS or turn it in for the Speedster. I can’t have both. I have a two car garage and I own three cars now. Also, they would be very similar in driving dynamics.
BTW, I hope the exhaust pipes are wrong. Otherwise this is a turbo car. I know it’s photoshopped.

It is naturally aspirated with the GT3/RS engine and the exhausts are per below...

As usual those of us who have driven Porsche all our lives and made hard choices to be able to afford it don’t have a chance. Only boulevard cruisers who buy new cars every couple years need apply. It is time those who appreciate these cars and drive them daily get a shot.

KMM:Looks like Porsche are looking for various ways to monetize the GT3 motor; this bodes well for a 6-cylinder GT4 versus the 4-cylinder rumors.
Its the only atmospheric engine now, so kind of makes sense to put it in a few more special models, makes them even more special, among all the other models that are turbo now.

Agreed. This is why Porsche should put it in more models (incl. a cabriolet and in cars with rear seats) but unfortunately... Apparently there is no need to, production is at full capacity.

Life is unfair only to those that allow it to be unfair.

I think this is an interesting and desirable car, but the highly restricted numbers and available configuration (MT only) guarantees that this car will be little more than an object of curiosity and discussion for the majority and a garage queen "investment" for the few. Evidently Porsche does not require any more of its special models to ensure success.

I really don't know but last rumor was manual. Not that it really matters, I can't get and don't need one anyway.

the difference is the Porsche ones will keep better value

Since McLaren is on a playing field inhabited by premiere sport car makers and savvy buyers, isn't that all you need to know about which car is preferable?

It will be MT only. Any way to pass it along to me?

Porsche is jut making variants, different 'models', they Neve said anything one is bette than the other.
Mclaren keep saying the old one is out now that a new one is better.

Yes, but there has always been one rule for McLaren i.e bash them whatever they do, and another for more established brands. BTW have I told you that the 720S is the new R8 on Rennteam ?

Oh god, RC is so gonna ban you for trashing his R8!!!!!
Not me, as you know it, I bash Porsche plenty, as with Ferraris, not just McLaren. And my current favourite brand is Alfa
But damn do I miss my 4C right now after spending 2 weeks away from home. That will be the first car I drive when I get home! Next will be my Aston. Then the Huracan.
Have I told you between Porsche and Manthey, they STILL haven't sort out logistics yet for my race weekend in Hockenheim coming up in less than one month? They still hasn't decide on which hotel we should be staying and didn't even have a booking yet.

That is not very characteristic. I have to tell you that my Exclusive "experience"( if you can call it that) with the GT3 Touring has been shambolic.
