Just heard of two guys in Germany getting a 991.2 GT3 RS with Weissach package in June and July. Confirmed!

Under 250 cars for Germany total (first batch)...similar to GT2 RS...

Any new rumors on the second batch,filter or not filter? Smiley

but,better...are we so sure there will be a second batch? Smiley

Why would they not ? If they can make the cars and sell them it would be crazy not to do it. Unless they love us so much that they want to make us a 70th anniversary gift :-))

Yes,they will do...but i’m curious to see how they menage the filter/non filter issue.

I found it to be very stunning in real life. I would tone down the interior look by going with black seat inserts as opposed to the lizard green seat inserts. Also, might eliminate the model decal on the doors. My good friend has ordered his GT3 RS in white with the Weissach Package. My apologies for the delayed response to your questions.

Small update : got to the lottery at my dealer to get the RS.

Unfortunately not winner - very pissed with the brand right now : while favoriting both flippers and people who,just want one for making money, others are left down the road.

I'm very pissed and then likelihood that I sell my 4.0 and go to another band is high - what a shame - this is probably the only brand where those kinds of game with playing with allocations and customers is going on.

Yes and No, and I know there are market to market variances. However, if you consistently spend money with Ferrari they ( the factory, that is) know who you are and cars will be allocated to you. All from the "top" clients of dealerships who got the allocations. Shame on all involved.

thanks. I did make a request to have the seats black. On the .1 you could choose orange or black when taking the colored inside but on .2 it is only green seats. Will see if my request gets through. Also thaught decals could be too much with WP and LG.

That is still my order but leaning strongly at the moment for black.

i believe that but i was taken on a ride by a ferrari dealer matching the best ferrari-world in abu dhabi has to offer. for ferrari's defense i have to say that he is not a ferrari dealer anymore. anyway, what happened is totally inconceivable for a PC.

Oh well. Honestly though, why do you want a gt3 RS if you have a 4.0? Also, why not just go get a .1 RS? If you just want a faster car, buy a 720s.

I dont understand the massive demand for these new Porsche RS cars. They aren't manuals, they aren't the fastest, and each new one is less involving than the previous, so why is it so important to have the latest one? The .1 will be 97% as fast if you just put the new tires on it.

From what I can tell, the .2 RS is more body kit than it is performance with respect to the .1

The .1 has a crap motor. The .2 is in a totally different league. The best thing to do with the .1 is to trade for the .2 as soon as possible.

Crap motor how? I don't recall seeing many complaints about the .1 RS motor. Some members on here have them and they don't seem to be dying to get rid of them...

Is the .2 motor better? Probably, but the 992.1 GT3 motor will be better again, so you'll be dying to dump the .2 as well...

Good question. I opted for the .2RS because it looks so much more aggressive than the GT3, has more power, performance and holds it value better than the GT3. I am paying about $40,000 more for the RS. Is it worth it? I’ll find out when I take delivery at the end of October this year. kiss

Not sure why you post this .... quite a few have their cars confirmed.

Cause some people couldn't order the Weissach package for a first batch order and I also wanted to point out that the first batch is limited in numbers but second batch will get more cars. Meaning: Don't give hopes up, more cars are coming in after the summer vacation.
