Need Tyre Advice

Looking for some advice on replacement tyres (Front: 235/35-19 / Rear: 295/30-19) for my 997 C2S Cabrio.

Currently running on Continental ContiSportContact 2. I drive the car quite enthusiastically, mainly on dry roads

Would appreciate any views on other makes such as the new.... Continental ContiSportContact 3, Michelin Pilot Sport 2, Pirelli PZero Rosso & Bridgestone Potenza RE050A.

Thanks & awaiting for your advices.

Just today I fitted the Bridgestones. They feel great, yet what I compare them with is the worn out Michelins. Will let you know in a few weeks!

While I was at OPC East London today, I noticed that some of the new cars on display were fitted with Yokohama Advan tyres... obviously some other manufacturers must have got the cherished Porsche 'N' spec approval.

Any problems with your P-car Easy? What was the reason for being there

Michelin PS2's come highly recomended. Excellent dry and good wet abilities. They come with a little less meat than others, mind.

There seems to be a shortage of tyres at the moment too.

No problems at all function_analysi

There was a 'service campaign' for the engine compartment cooling fan (not that I had experienced any problem) and also a PCM telephone module software upgrade (which drastically improved the outgoing voice quality).

So far so good

I love the P Zero rossos.... I think they are marvellous AND they get warm very easily. On the other hand the PS2 tend to remain colder for longer and this may be tricky.

I would consider yokohama but not continental neither bridgestone as I have had not great experience in the past but I must admitt on other cars.

I changed my PS2's for bridgestone REO50As and won't look back!!!

Totally agreed!!! One week ago I did exactly the same thing rhino also did and I can't even find a single argument to rationalize how on earth the PS2s have convinced all this supporting crowd. PS2s reputation should probably be the absolute proof of the theory of Gustave LeBon on the crowd psychology

Don't know what to say more...I can always look back in PS2s but only in anger.
