New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

A friend took these pictures and I thought they turned out well. Wanted to see what you guys thought.

And I took these. Slightly different feel/technique

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Awesome! Especially love the picture 2nd from bottom.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Very nice photos atomic80 I like the Nurburgring sticker too

It does look rather nice doesn't it?

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Simply stunning pictures
I think that I have never seen pictures with an eye for that much detail

    Very nice car BTW

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Thanks for the new "background/wallpaper" pics for my computer screen !! Great looking vehicle.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Very nice. "Looking out the window" with the catchy window pane pattern is great, but my favorite is the one with the aggressive stance and the mean looking ass. :-) Background is interesting yet not distracting and those yellow brakes are PERFECT.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Great Shots.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Stunning, just stunning.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Atomic what happened to your other tail pipes?

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Nice pics. I like the composition but the post processing of most of them just doesn't give the car the attention is needs, IMHO of course.

And the pics you took are nice but need some horizon leveling.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Ok, I'm not any better...

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Nice car. The steering wheel looks great, nice add.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    V.Nice pics ...

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

cannga, I was hoping to hear from you. I need to take some new pictures with the new lowered stance (thanks to the Damptronics) which makes the rear end look even more aggressive.

I had you in mind when I took this particular picture because I know of your propensity towards images taken using natural light.

This one although a flash was used, turned out quite well.

And this one shows off the Cobalt Blue really well

JoeRockhead, I like the way the Techart wheel looks and feels. Complements my interior quite well.

edz61, I removed them because the finish got marred when some baked on dirt couldn't be cleaned off. I really like the way the stock tips look (at least for now) anyways.

harryo2b, I'm not sure how you mean by that. More horizontal?

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Hey some of those shots are of my car!

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Hey thanks for thinking of me!
Yes I love natural light (vs. flash) for sure, but the "propensity" is actually towards the *golden hours* of natural light: dawn, sunset, and in particular the time right after sunset. I just love the atmosphere of street and house lights coming on just right when there is a teeny bit of light left from the disappearing sun. Somehow it always looks "festive," warm, and pretty to me. Like this shot of Positano I am enclosing.

The more I look at it, the more I like that shot through the windows pane btw. And although I don't usually enhance contrast or black level by curves/level too much, I even like the alteration by Harry. Nice and unsual shot of a gorgeous car! (I assume this compliment is for yours to, Over-the-Hill, which ever shot it is that's your car--I can't tell! )

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Another shot in low light. I only had a monopod with me so the sharpness could probably be better, but I like the lighting.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Somehow that other post resizes my Positano pic. Here it is in higher resolution.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

These are stunningly good pictures. Your guys realy do have got a hand for this. Many thanks for sharing. StN

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Cannga, this is a stunning scenery shot (so is the car shot too). Any chance you could PM a high res? I need a new wallpaper shot and this is awesome.

By the way, what did you shoot this with?

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Stunning pictures!!

As pretty as an OEM Turbo gets!

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

    Fantastic the photos...and the Turbal!

    Congratulations atomic80!!

Great shot of Positano! When were you there? That's coolest one-road town I've ever been to!

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Thanks. I can't PM the high resolution shot; please send me your email.
    Jason (Atomic) uses Nikon.
I use Canon 1D, the car with 85 f/1.2 L (the mother of all portrait lenses ), the Positano shot with either 24-70 L or 35 f/1.4 L.

Joe: This shot was around 2005. Yes Positano is spectacular. IMO Italy is one of the prettiest places on Earth, and Amalfi Coast the prettiest of Italy. BTW Positano is so steep I think it's a stress test waiting to happen. LOL.

    GREAT SHOTS!

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

the pictures are really nice! However, over here we have this thing that every car has to be driven on Nordschleife first before you can put the sticker on it..hehe.
hope u will still experience that if u have not already done so..

    have fun with it!

I know. I've already done that, just not with my car.

Re: New photos of my 997TT taken by a friend

Awesome shots! Really dig the way the PCCB's yellow calipers contrast with the Cobalt Blue!
