    Has anyone here tried coatings for Basalt Black cars such as Supaguard. I'd be interested in people's views on whether these are worthwhile and the pros and cons.

    Couldn't find the pics I mentionned, but I saw the car again yesterday. It even got a fresh new paint!

    Thanks for the pics Pierre I wanted too see how a mat black would actually look but its strange... I look at it, and look at it, and look at it again, and I can't decide wether I love it or hate it!

    Yeah, very special indeed. And what makes this car looks a bit odd too is the fact it's sitting pretty high. Lower it, and it might look very different.

    I've posted this picture before, but here it is again. apparently, from what I've heard, there are already several matte black cayennes driving around in switzerland...

    Thanks a lot Pierre... Now I know I should not order my 997 in mat black...:P It is very special, but I think the rims should match the car... these look a bit too flashy in comparison with the mat black paint.
    BTW; this is in the garage... were you there because of probs with the tt?!?
