VW Launches Brand New 7 Speed DSG

Hi guys! Haven't posted from a long time now, but as I saw the news about this new VW 7 speed DSG gearbox, it instantly reminded me about the rumours that Porsche is almost ready with its PDK transmission, which I think is pretty close in construction to the DSG transmissions.
So it will be interesting for me to hear your thoughts about that matter. Do you think that this new DSG gearbox is in any way linked with the much awaited PDK transmission by Porsche?
