I was so tempted on making a strictly Ferrari list, or a strictly retro list, but I thought I take time and be creative

It is the 1st time I see the term "California" in "Ferrari 250 GT California SWB", is it the complete name for the 250 GT SWB or does it refer to a special edition ? If it is the case, how does it differ to the "regular" model ?

My list:
- Lamborghini LP640 Coupe
- Ferrari 430 Scuderia (Ferrari at its best)
- Audi R8 (Daytona Grey, Carbon side blades, exterior carbon package and titanium wheels)
- Porsche 997 TT cab (not the most obvious choice I agree, but IMHO as a parangom of versatility defines perfectly Porsche)
- Jaguar XKR (best GT in the market IMHO)

While most have included some awesome "classics", my choices are limited to "current" models only, excluding such favourites as the CGT, ENZO, F1, Ruf etc, along with other very exclusive vehicles with limited dealer networks - I'm just too practical sometimes.

1. ML63AMG - for winter and misc. household needs.
2. Bentley Convertible - for those sunny days.
3. 599GTB - one of the best GT's ever made.
4. LP640 Roadster - nothing sounds better than a ragtop V12.
5. 997GT3RS - mostly for the track.
6. S65AMG - for more serious affairs.

Have zero interest in old/archaic-tech cars
Have no interest in cars that sit in garage except for sunny wkend PMs
Get rid of any car after 6mos/5K mis (whichever comes first)
Have no interest in going to tracks (or anywhere) in Podunk
Am a mediocre amateur driver, w/no aspirations to become a pro driver....but have an intense risk/reward focus re: driving style
Drive about 15K mis/yr....13K mis/yr are pleasure driving on familiar fast fwys and mtn twisties
Am a minimalist....like to drive same car 365d/yr (on summ perf tires/wheels) if poss (even if identical new copy every 6mos)
Have owned/driven enough alleged perf cars like 599/997TT to laugh re: supposed state-of-art, despite one-dimensional focus on perf...amazing how many one-dimensional perf cars of today still can't solve basics like passive safety/fuel tank crashworthiness/turbo lag/effeminate exhaust notes/Luddite gearboxes, etc

Luddite gearboxes? The slushbox technology on the Benzes has been around since the 1940's - older than any of my automotive choices

Wich Corvair? The Corsa, Greenbrier Van or the mini truck???
Scoff not, but Porsche developed the engine and suspension for them.

Dont be shocked if Porsche and GM give you another surprise one day soon!
