Basically it's amazing how these cars have transformed. "Pumped up" Turbo looks a million miles away from the 3.2 Carrera (center) and contrasts even the contemporaneous 997 Carrera on top.

I'm with MMD, I definitely like the old one(s) better. I think the current Turbo is one of the ugliest cars Porsche has built. Cleans up sort of well with a different set of wheels, and I like the notion of simplifying it with GT2 facework.
I'm hoping that some future TT facelift will make the car more Porsche-like and less like the batmobile.

I think the batmobile look is what most "car guys" want (not anybody _I_ know
).Thankfully Porsche has resisted somewhat (IMO) going full blast down that BM road.
Check out this comp; except for the fggn wing (which I "hate" on mine) the TT looks acceptably non-BM.
