    Well it is going to be as exclusive as a Ferrari. They plan to build only 2000 a year to "maintain exclusivity". Even GM understands the concept.

    BTW, Wayne what are you drivng these days. I sort of lost track of your various upgrade projects. Your last was the blown gallardo but I believe you sold it.

    And how many 997GT3RS did they build? I believe there were far fewer CGT also...

    z06 is great for the money, but I still think they look boring. I'd much rather a GT3 than this.

    You bet GM understands the concept of exclusivity.

    Even that company's mass-market models are getting to be more exclusive all the time as Toyota and others continue to take sales away from it.

    The hood looks like a throwback to the late sixties L-88 (Corvette) hood. (sans the glass portal)

    And, I think only 400 GT2's in the US. I inquired at Newport Auto Center this morning and they only expect 2 all year. And they are a major Porsche dealer.

    Heffner is completing my 07 Spider as a 875 rwhp twin turbo.
    I'll have it here by mid january. have to keep it out of state 90 days to save 16000 in sales tax. you need to
    drive it. keep in touch

    With the GT2 and RS Porsche has become more limited in certain models. However, the 996GT2 was very limited and its resale value has plummeted. The 997RS has held up well but I suspect in the near future it will also take a tumble.

    The CGT (my favorite Porsche) has stopped falling in price but that is because many Europeans are buying the US CGT's from owners desparate to get out of the car.

    Fritz, when I posted my comment, I fully anticipated your point and all I can say is at least GM though having financial difficulties is willing to partner with the buyers of the new Corvette by limiting its production.
