    Has anyone used Vredestein tires

    My tires are almost up for change on my 2005 997 C2S. Doing some research I ran across Vredestein tires. The literatures look convincing and the price look ok (a full set for around 780.00 US dollars + shipping). If some has any experience with these I would really appreciate feedback. Thanks in advance.

    I had a set of Vredestein Wintrac Extreme winter tyres (W rated to 270 km/h) and was very satisfied with the performance on the Ring in icy rain in December in a 996 TT X50.

    Brit mag EVO recently rated them 2nd (if I recall correctly) behind Goodyear's Assymetrical Eagle F1 is their 2007 tire test. They liked 'em.

    Find that issue for the entire test.

    Found the review, they really praised the tire. A picture of the tire was even on the cover of the magazine. I think I will give these tires a try. check out this link:

    Well, I think Vredestein are dutch tyres, so I figure they're pretty good in the rain

    i had some winter vredesteins and found them no macht for winter contis...

    +++ I wanted to see how the car and tyres performed in those conditions. Both exceeded my expectations.

    Nowadays I have more sense and winter in NZ
