ridiculous. still a japanese piece of plastic with no soul whatsoever,none. To compare this to a Porsche is silly. By the way, I feel the same way about comparing Z06 to TT's also. Specs alone do not sum up what a car is , at least to me. I wouldn't care if it did 0-60 in 2 seconds and topped out at 230. It is just not in the same league and never will be. Neither will the Vettes.

That sounds a bit elitist to me. How would you feel if some Ferrarista said the same about your car, even if it drove better than a Ferrari?
You're certainly entitled to your opinion and you can use whatever criteria you like to make your decisions with your money. I just find it interesting (and different from how I make my decisions).

There are a few people on this board that call the 997 Turbo a soulless marketing gimmick for the middle-class. 
None of us own a Zonda (yet... looks real hard towards South Africa). There will always be someone above us on the food chain. Cars like the Z06 or the GT-R deserve respect, no matter their mass-market badge.
