    Rimac C_Two Hypercar Promises To Make You Feel Sick With A 0-60 In 1.85 Seconds


     

    As promised by the Croatian manufacturer, the C_Two is significantly more powerful than its predecessor as it offers a combined 1,888hp (1,914PS) and 1696lb-ft (2,300Nm) of torque from its electric motors.

     

    The result of all this insane power is a 0-60mph in a breathtaking 1.85 seconds, a 0-100mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 258mph (412km/h). We guess the fact that Tesla announced a 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds for the upcoming Roadster has something to do about that 1.85-second figure.

    As with the Concept One, each wheel of the C_Two is powered by its own motor, with Rimac using a set of single-speed gearboxes on the front and a set of two-speed gearboxes at the rear.

    Rimac claims a total driving range of 404 miles (650km) on the NEDC cycle.

    I am very proud about Rimac achievement. Car is as fast as possible. I will visit Rimac factory again very soon and will made an special report for rennteam with lot of pics etc.

    I think the Concept One looks so much better than this new thing, I can't believe they come up with such a "design". Looks hideous from almost every angle, at least from the first pics. heart

    I love what Rimac could achieve. Amazing how they can build such an performant car as a neewbie.

    Lookwise - the C1 is my favorite, too.

    There is one huge issue with the vehicle which is its weight. I really wonder how it will handle under cornering. Oh and one other the  - the price Smiley

    Hyundai, Kia Invest $90M In Rimac For High-Performance EVs

    Hyundai is investing €64 million (approximately $72M at current exchange rates) while Kia is spending €16M ($18 million) to form the technical partnership with Rimac. According to the agreement, the companies will be working together on two performance-oriented electric vehicles by 2020
