DaveGordon:Also the cars are delivered with a camber which suits street driving. If you’re driving quick on track this will chew the shoulders off in no time. A track-oriented geometry will help a lot and grip better.
Mine is going in for track geo next week, looking forward what it does with the character and the stance. Keep you updated!

Too elegant for such a car, agreed.

d997h:+2 ... the chrome adds something of a gentleman / of elegance to this sportscar and I like it a lot...
The words elegant and sportscar don't mix in my opinion, unless you are referring to a Jag, Aston Martin or similar.

These pics of touring just confirm what we all know here: it represents the essence and culmination of what the 911 is as a road car.
BUT the fact that they refuse to offer it without PDK and rear seats is to me inexcusable and basically treating customers for granted and stupid. Just for that matter and by principle, I would not buy any 911 in the current lineup.

I bet that the 992 will offer these combinations . They just had to go that route a lit slowly , not to upset the chain ...

but tell that to Porsche.
There was a short rumor of a limited production run of GT3 Touring with PDK. I never believed that rumor but it came from a supplier, so I thought maybe... Had already a production slot for April for a Touring, in the hope that they would offer it with PDK but...nothing. A customer lost. This is the only current 911 I would have bought (yes, seriously). I love the new GT3 RS but this is a bit too much for me, unless I would be often on the track.
Even better with rear seats (Touring)...but I guess this is just wishful thinking. Too late anyway, I re-invested the money.
