Heh, so, surprise-surprise, it'll turn into a 5000-odd run just like the last one...

Does make me wonder why .2 GT3 production was kept so low, though - given there weren't issues with certification etc.

What is the estimate on production numbers of the .2 GT3? I assume it'll be more or less the same ratio as .1 GT3 and RS?

Production is not yet completed. Some cars will still go in production in the coming weeks, at least Euro Spec - ROW cars. Smiley but it is decreased substantially now. .1 was around 3000-4000 cars. .2 will be on the same scale with the difference as there are 3 models: PDK, Manual and touring. Around 30% is manual transmission. Smiley

Loads of car where cancelled since mid-Jan, PTS and CXX fiasco due to overload from GT3 and GT2RS customer request... many people are upset now. Smiley

It should stop before the summer or they will have to get the approval for the car again Smiley and they will not go that route.

Then the only remaining question is : are cars after September identical to the ones before ? If yes, what did they do as to meet the new polution standards ?

Yes not bad at all. I suspect just the carbon rear spoiler wouldn't see much change out of that as a retro fit.

As far as I know, a particulate filter weights under 10 kg (6-8 or so...). Not a big deal.

Sound? Well, if they designed the exhaust flow differently or whatever...maybe... yes

I wouldn't worry too much, it cannot sound as bad as the GT2 RS. indecision angry

Don't forget that the UK has probably the cheapest base price on the whole planet . Maybe that can help if one needs to add 20k or so to get one .

In Switzerland the car would cost 196 £ and it is not because of taxes, as our VAT is 7.7 %

I assume the car wouldn't work without the particulate filter and even if it did, it would be a pretty bad mess in Germany since you would commit tax fraud (since the car would enter a different emissions class if the particulate filter is removed). Tricky...
