Can we be honest? High performance sport cars are not designed to be comfortable. They are designed for performance which means being loud and a jarring ride. Factor in performance seats and you have a formula for brief burst of enjoyment while enduring harsh comfort. Driving the car several hours a day is for masochist.

I view my RS as an escape pod. While I have other distractions from the daily ho hum, the anticipation of getting in the RS and giving it a spirited drive helps keeps the balance in my world. But like everything else, moderation is the key. kiss

Off the top of my head, I can already name you 911 turbo/turbo S, of all generations.

    Ferrari F12/812, FF/Lusso, California/Portofino.

If I take out my Exclusive to my track, and give a GT3RS, GT2RS, or even the 918 to someone else and compare times, not many will be faster, of course a few competent drivers will be but majority will not.

I said it many many times, the 911 turbo S is one of the best all rounder without much compromises.

Smiley I'd rather say the best allrounder if you don't need the back seats and/or too much luggage room. There is no real alternative.

Did you know I once packed 2 sets of golf clubs, 2 pull carts, and enough clothing for 2 for a 7 day golf trip into my 911 turbo S?

Another time, at the end of my European delivery of my Exclusive, I drove from Megeve back to Stuttgart with 2 guys and their luggage for a week on top of my own luggage also?

Nick, you’re not going to tell us the three of you were comfortable. Smiley

My seat was still in my normal driving position, just slightly upright a little bit to clear the suitcases behind me, so yeah I am fine. Riding shotgun is my 220lb friend, he didn't complaint either. The guy sitting behind him also isn't small either, maybe 190 and 5'9". He never complained. Smiley We did stopped in Switzerland for lunch and had the most expensive McDonalds ever though.

The doormen at the Four Seasons were extremely entertained watching these 2 do the Tetris thing trying fit everything in the car.Smiley

I believe you, Nick. We put two large(!) Samsonites in the rear of 991.2 Cab. This is actually the advantage of the Cab if you travel with lots of luggage: You can put the luggage inside the rear when the top is open and then you can close the top. You can't do this in a Coupe.

I always packed the old aircooled cars with the wife, two kids, two dogs and weekend  gear for the lake for the almost three hour drive.  Dachshunds of course

I picked up my Pista Spider earlier today. I specced it through the Tailor Made program last July when the world was a very different place. White and red is the theme as you will see but without overpowering amounts of red on the interior. I am very pleased with how things turned out. Here are some quick photos.

You’re in a roll cray, congrats !! Those red seats with the rest of the black interior look great against the white. What’s the color for the red stripe, much more elegant that a brighter flat red.

Rosso Magma. It's a special colour that I think we will see a lot of in the future as it is rich and has real depth to it - at a price of course!

That's a very neat Rosso paint  Smiley

It sucks when they push your car back another 6 - 10 months, when you decide to choose "Special Color" Smiley

    Re: Ferrari 488 PISTA

Christian, the red is the brightest red I have seen for an interior of a car. Maybe because of the contrasting white exterior. I didn't say it looked bad but it's something you'll need to adjust your eyes for.

Btw: This is how my wife specced her 992 Carrera 4S Cabriolet (not sure however if it is not going to be a GTS or Turbo S instead, she is changing her opinion almost every single day Smiley, negotiations will start next spring Smiley).

Women love red (my daughter hates red though).
