The farmer:EVERYONE ordering a GT2 RS with Weissach package seemes to order PTS wich has greated a big problem in production i.e extrem delays. This is the fourth Porsche I’ve ordered that’s not going to meet the promised delivery date. What happened to German “ordnung”?
If you really want to, this could be fixed. Smashed a cup car in Dubai a week ago when some shit head Ferrari dude thought it was a good idea to change lane in mid corner when I was passing. Wall to my right and a Ferrari coming from the left. Got airborne and the car was just totally shit when it stopped. First session of the day. Took five mechanics 7 hours to replace pretty much everything and have the car ready to for me to drive the last session of the day (sorry to say, the couldn’t fix my ribs...).
Ii wish I could see this kind of commitment from the PAG production line as well, then we wouldn’t have such a fuck up in production dates......
Glad you are OK - I suppose laughing makes you laugh even more (with the broken ribs) :)
The most important si you hope you are OK...
Every car manufacturers miss deadlines, the only difference is when it is Tesla everyone cries wolf but when it is Porsche they get a pass... Can you imagine what would happen to this board if Tesla had to replace engines on a whole model line like Porsche just did with the GT3?

A bit exhausted right now and the ribs hurt like hell. Missed both races in Dubai due to not having medical clearance before I had a full medical check up. But since nothing was found brookten I got that and decided it was a great idea to go for the races in Abu Dhabi the week after, so that I did... Really pushed my self during a total of four days driving there and now, back home it’s taking its tribute. But...it’s only pain and as we all know.... No pain, No gain!
Cant emagine there would ever be a engine swap on the Tesla by the way. How could it be, since the Tesla don’t even have a engine....
absent:I really don't understand this obsession everyone has with PTS, some order really weird colors just to be a bit different from the mass of GT2RSs around?
Well, if the official color palette only exists of 4 colors... I can imagine people start looking for a way to make the car more their own.
On a sidenote: Farmer, wishing you a speedy recovery mate!
Porsche, separates Le Mans from Le Boys
Farmer will be fine. That soft Swede is being properly Canadianized in the Middle East, of all places.
He urged me not to do the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, cause if I fall off a cliff there, he would miss the chance to pass me on the track. What a great friend I got!

You forgot how I made a big thread here and on Rennlist about their delays on the 918?
I don't discriminate, I trash all brands equally. Not even Ferrari is immune either.

I HATE Ferraris, especially Ferrari GT’s with dickhead drivers without any clue about behavior on the track....
Nick, your just doing this hill s*** to be able to bale out from the German series and my rightful revenge....
Nooo, seruisly, I think it sounds like a stupid thing to do. I know how easy it is to do a stupid misdtake. On a F1 track, that slip, right handled, will cost you some flat spots, no more. This hill climb thing, without rails, could cost you a lot more. And Nick, the German series would be much more boring for me without you. Not that many smokers around, so it’s you, me and James Hunt...
Take care and do this the Canadian way, easy and safe, and not the Viking way as we Swedes would have done it.

Whoopsy:The Porsche mechanics all smoke dude And you will have me at Hockenheim to start the season.
Btw, my 385HP car will have only 276HP at the start line, and 212HP at the top, so I won't be going THAT fast anyway.
take the Cayenne, it will protect you better when go off

Goodwood 2018 = Porsche
Goodwood has announced that Porsche is to be the honoured marque at the Festival of Speed, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. The announcement coincides with the sports car manufacturer celebrating the 70th anniversary of the creation of its very first sports car – the 356
“Porsche has been one of our most loyal and enthusiastic partners, supporting the Festival of Speed since 1995, and the Revival since 2010,” said The Duke of Richmond and Gordon. “This year Porsche will become the first manufacturer to create the central display at the Festival for the third time, underlining the huge contribution from this iconic manufacturer of world-beating racing cars and road cars."

What impressed me most last year was all the older race cars on display there - almost nothing behind fences.
Very approachable.
