Thanks for the compliments. I am delighted with the how the car turned out. The wheels are the standard silver high gloss. The color is an old school 70s Porsche offering and I like the "ghost" Fuchs look of the standard wheel as the spokes get lost in the black finish. But you know as they say, chacun a son gout. By the way I've been letting my wife do a lot of the break in driving. Very difficult to modulate the accelerator.

DaveC , you car looks fantastic 
Even the silver rims suit the car, probably because there is black in between on the sticker 
The sticker looks good too and gives character to the car, is a nice reminder of the 70's graphics

There was a lot of confusion over my CXX requests between Exclusive and my dealer and none of them made it to the car. Just as well I suppose since it's nothing I can't do locally if I decide it's that essential. At present the car looks great. I may get the gloss black sensor on the roof painted body color but that could not have been done CXX anyway. My love affair with Porsche began in the early '70s as a teenager and so the 73-74 IROC RSRs, along w/ the 73 RS, have been my Porsche inspiration for many years now.

Finally told I can't get 991.2 GT3 by my OPC. Seems at least two went to flippers from this dealership. Was told production stops in April resuming in August with the new PP filter.
Really disappointed.

It’s simply about money, not legislation. The XM Satellite company pays Porsche to include Satellite radio, so more customers will buy subscriptions. They give 3 months free then want you to pay. They have been calling me 5 times a week...

The Letter of Intent on the RS.2 seems to be pretty much invite too 
, many have had the NO already..

I find this puzzling. The antenna is hardly noticeable and is tastefully designed. Think airplane.

If you fixate on it, it will bedevil you. When I look at my car, I don’t see it. All I see is the goal car. So much so, I cannot tell you if it is painted in the color of the car. I would have to go out and look but I really don’t care.
