    What does RS Green really look like?

    Having never seen a Green RS, I am wondering what shade it is really. Which of the 3 below (if any) is closest to the actual colour ?
    (I prefer the one on bottom left, so am hoping it's that one.)

    I have this file labelled RS green. I'm not sure it is correct though..., better than nothing.

    Unfortunately, the pale green on the top pic comes closest to the actual colour - at least on my monitor. If I had to choose I would take the one with the Kermit plate

    I have only seen one in person, but I would say lower left photo is representative in direct sun and the car appears somewhat darker inside. I'm not a green car guy, but I liked it when I saw it for whatever thats worth.

    i think all those color are true, depend on the way of the light...

    but the bottom left seems to be the most realist of all (at least under the sun)...

    hellgelb, I'd say under normal weather conditions (whatever that means in Scotland ) it's a tad lighter/greener than the pic on top, but not as green as bottom left. But then, I wear glasses since decades

    Though judging from your user-name I thought you would go for Speed Yellow anyway

    OK, thanks everyone. Have there been any paint-to-sample Carreras in this colour ?

    It does look excellent, IMO.

    I have spotted a 997 in that colour several times. According to the number plate it was a Werkswagen, either a test mule or the car of a Porsche employee. Without the black decals and the other black parts like wing, mirrors, wheels, ... it looked very strange. I would not recommend that colour for a normal Carrera. 997 with Aerokit might be ok, though.

    The lower left pciture is the best approximation of the real life impression. RS green is an intense color which does look excellent on the GT3/GT3RS. I would rather opt for RS Green than Orange

    Cheers. I just downloaded the Top Gear episode where they look for the best driving road, in a green GT3 RS, Gallardo Superlegerra & the Aston N24. The RS looks amazing... I've changed my avatar in homage!
