They are nicer than I anticipated. Congratulations. I was going to order these but you said it was the last set. I went to the url I posted and they have disappeared. Do you know if they are getting more? The next time I find something I plan to order, I will order then post. LOL. Oh well - you snooze, you lose.

My oh my. Gregg, the bolts are exquisite! I mean they do look very very VERY nice; that they serve a function is pure icing on the cake LOL. I am passing on these things, but for how long, I don't know.
The same poster on rennlist (that I mentioned in this monster thread earlier) who gave PCCB the edge only in weight also always encourages making wheels AND bolts lighter. All unsprung weight, all critical to him.
It's fun watching your baby being built up step by step, with careful research and always first rate components.Quote:

Beautiful!
I'm curious, do they require anti-seize compound on the threads? I only ask because, I have had many experiences with ti parts on my titanium (frame) road racing bicycle. Many times dissimilar metals mated with titanium will "weld" together if the compound is not used. I don't know if this would apply to these bolts. I apologize if this was addressed and I missed it; due to this monster thread!
Quote:I have the titanium lug bolts and use the Porsche recommended 96 ft lbs - never had an issue. I'd be worried about using 160 nm since that's about 118 ft lbs

Thanks Duffy!
I spoke w/ Cory a couple of times, he's a good guy.
Like Jeff 95/96ft lbs was recommended to me by Champion. I'd be curious to hear what Cory says about the rec. difference in torque.
Which wheels will you be using the Titanium bolts on?
Happy New Year to you too!!!!
