This one would be mine...so sad I couldn't go for one but the sound and RWD only really killed it for me. Of course the price tag as well.

Whenever I see pictures of the GT2RS now I have to ponder what performance it will bring with the tires delivered to end-users. This report in SportAuto spoiled the GT2RS story quite a bit It is a shame that Porsche had to use the same deception as AMG to produce good lap times. The implication can only be that lap times of customer cars will be far less good.
Kobalt:The implication can only be that lap times of customer cars will be far less good.If I'm the driver this would still be true even with the "record tires"
The problem is that even a quite-Ok skilled driver will experience the difference - but in relative lap times. I.e. you in a regular customer car will be slower than you would in a car equipped with these fake tires the press used. You will be slower - on a slower level than a pro. Besides, these cars are bought because they "want to be the quickest". This story is screwed given the latest tire-related findings and that makes the car far less desirable than I would have thought before
BTW: the grey market is full of GT2RS by now. In Germany there are 10 cars available with short-term delivery already. The number is growing nearly on a daily basis.
Porker:Can't say it's pretty, but it does look cool in black!
GT2RS is not meant to be pretty though, is it. i absolutely love it..
I would have a ""MEN ONLY"" decal written on the sides . Proper hairy chest tool is that ..

as of now, very few wants this car to drive it fast, the rest wants it to show off or to flip...
if you want to be very fast, take a slick tyre as alternative, no need for super sticky tyre on road.

But they don't make Slick tires for those fancy 20/21" Magnesium wheels...

Kobalt:Imagine that in your rear mirrors: It's got "Move over" written all over it.
Hehehe.. there’s a boy-racer Honda or something around here with exactly that in huge letters written in mirror-image across the top of his windscreen

my bad, the 21''rear wheel is as stupid as possible , put everything in 19''and job done (cheaper on top of that!). slick is unbeatable.
and this chassis is as close as possible to a race car.

I have no idea what anyone would do with a car like this. Its more a statement car than a performance car. 99.9%of the buyers will not get near 60% of the performance the car has to offer. What's the point other than to say you own one?
BTW, the car in Black makes it difficult to determine what it is.

Not everything has to make sense, you can't use full capability of most performance cars on the market today yet we buy them anyway.
People buy it because they WANT IT, not because they NEED IT.
People buy all kind of things just because they want to own them and even experience them to their best ability.
