Exactly. Quite a few "VIP" Porsche customers were screwed by their dealers when it came time to place orders for/buy the 997 GT3RS. Dealers were extorting them 30-50k over MSRP, and they were doing this to their best customers.

This is interesting...
In the watchbusiness I heard you can take such a statement back to the manufacturer and complain that they tried to overcharge. For some brands i know the dealer would loose the licence. If something is already sold it's another story - but if they get a pc they have to sell for sticker...(of course there are always ways - but the way they have offered it is rediculous...)I guess Porsche has now totally lost it... How can a dealer make 50k on top of their commission
If I would be Wiedeking I would cut their allocation of TT-convertibles,GT2's,GT3's etc with one phonecall to Zero....
