To me, it didn't sound like they ever took the GT3 T to redline (or even close). At least there was never a need to upshift...

Yeah, it did sound pretty nice. And I've yet to drive any of the new 3.0TT motors, but the base model in the T is supposedly the most responsive (drives most like NA).

Nick - are you tempted to put an aftermarket exhaust on the GT3 or are you happy with stock?

In case anyone likes to perform their own oil changes on the new .2 GT3, I made a little thread about this (and found a change that was not yet realized by one of the largest Porsche parts places in the US). X-post from another site (don't know if this is kosher):

nberry:Grant, I’ve listened to a couple and I haven’t found them to be better than OEM. I am fairly certain I will stay with the original exhaust.
I almost got a rear muffler bypass, but then also decided to stay stock (at least for the moment).

Yikes! It's around 50F today (was colder/snowy earlier in the week though).

Yeah, pretty cold over here as well...brrr...only 68 deg F but in the sun, actually pretty warm.
