So it's true, that all the nice CF-goodies only come as an option.
Not very nice for a car, which base price is 206.300 Euro...
With all CF options and some other goodies Scuderia will cost almost Euro 250K in Germany...

Ferraris are getting quite expensive lately. 599's are rarely sold under EUR 270/280,000 and I've heard that ceramics will be standard from next MY.

Not only from next MY on... PCCB will be mandatory with immediate effect (saw a letter of Ferrari Deutschland dated October 1, 2007). Also, the base price will increase not only by Euro 15k (CCB price) but by 25k

IMHO Ferrari is preparing the introduction of the 911-turbo-priced Dino by moving the price level of the current range up.

But I have been saying this loud for a long time, why wouldn't F raise their price?

This is insane.

Well, the 25k is the total price increase which includes CCB... Strictly speaking that does not imply that CCB costs 25k

Alright, so you get some floor mats as well for that money.
But seriously, with carbon ceramic brakes becoming more and more common at high end sports cars as well as cars like the RS-models from Audi, prices should rather go down instead of up.

...probably the world ceramic market is going nuts because of the high demand for CRM brakes.
Hm, I better hoard some tiles and tableware fast
