At 194 cm, I experienced the same in a F430 Spider vs a 997 GT3 RS. I couldn't find a comfortable position for my feet in the Ferrari, while the Porsche was fine..

Nick, I definitely know what I'm talking about, the F430 has no legroom at all, in the spider, the visors block my vision completely. I then decided to go for sports seats which I was told are much lower but they made no difference. The 911 is a much more roomier car than the F430, the dealer joked by telling me that the F430 where tested by miggets

Can anybody remember the test Clarkson (Topgear) did for the F430 vs F430 spider and he bought the Ferrari test driver alond to drive the coupe. Boy was that guy short

The Porsche has more room by far. The seat in the 430 does not go down as low. Ferrari's are designed for guys in their mid forties, slightly porky, around 5 foot 9 inches and about 80 Kg. Porsches are designed for guys that are about 5 inches taller!!

All Porsches in the US have four year 50K mile warranties. We also pay a lot less (try 1/2 as much). No price increase yet...base 997 is about 36K pounds.

Maybe you should drive on the right side of the road. Moving those steering wheels to the other side appears to double the cost.

all great with car! done about 500 miles. only comes out to play when dry, am loving it! no problems at all! very well built, ride quality in nomal mode about same as aston v8. gets firmer in sport mode which i keep it in most of time, do use race mode somtimes, as love the super fast gear change etc.
