Help: Stupid Porsche Key chain......
Hi,
I just bought the Porsche carbon fibre GT keychain and as I was trying tighten the screw with the "midget sized" allen key, the thread (not sure if it is called "thread", but I am referring to the allen key shap pattern on the top of the screw) on a few of the screws got destroyed. I can't believe how soft the thread on these screws can be.
Now, for those who are proficient with tooling, can anybody help me here? How do I rebuild the thread that I just destroyed? I remember watching something on TV about this silicon based gel that you can squeeze on the destroyed thread and recreat the thread's mould. Where do I get this stuff?
Thanks!
