    BTW, Audi Drive Select system will be available from summer 2008 in EU. It features amoung other things torque vectoring system on rear wheels differential combined with 40/60 AWD setup...

    Audi drive select
    Adapt the characteristics of the car to suit your personal requirements using the three modes comfort, auto and dynamic - from extremely comfortable to decidedly sporty.

    It controls active chassis damping system, engine throttle response and rear AWD differential which feature torque vectoring system that allows that left or right rear wheel gets different amount of torque(basically it mimic LSD only fully electronically controled). In theory it offers amazing agility and stability togehter. First reports in German press about that system(they also tried it in S5 test mule equiped with it) were very positive... It will be standard in more advanced form in new RS5.

    Thanks. I just watched the video and it talked about it. Any word of when the DSG version is coming? What about RS5? I am getting the itch to order the C63, but would rather a RS5 or even a DSG S5.

    I love the new S5.
    Any idea when will they offer some kind of auto gearbox?
    And what will it be? DSG or somthing Tronic?

    S-Tronic(DSG)... Sad story if you ask me... Why? Still not ready for prime.

    S5 will get optional TIP from March 2008. BUT, Drive Select will be available for manual only.

    RS5... 4.0L Biturbo. Gearbox? Either manual or S-Tronic. Audi will probably wait until S-Tronic(7Speed) is ready.

    BTW, drove S5 few days ago... Excellent car. Manual gearbox is the way to go with S5 IMHO...

    Personally, I think the S5 looks too aggressive for that small (low hp...) engine If the expected RS5 looked like the S5 that would be OK. But a car with 350hp and such looks...

    Janus, 350 bhp is very nice and probably not much less than what I am able to handle ( ), but when your daily driver has 450 bhp and youŕe looking at cars with 600+ bhp, the 350 figure does seem a bit low .
