Yamaha YZF-R125

Can a motorcycle producing less than 20 horsepower and weigh 280 pounds be exciting? Well Yamaha believes so but too bad the bike will not be in America. It looks good and like always, I am envious for the markets that will see this bike. The bike uses a single cylinder four stroke engine, kind of different. For more details check it out here.

This is not the first time a motorcycle topic was created in the sports car forum. Don't play dumb hinting whether I know what a car is, since you are questioning the placement of this topic. Also rather than talking about where this belongs maybe discuss something about the topic itself because this is not the first time a thread is not in the right place, then again, where else could this go? I guess off topic but that seems more about random things that have nothing to do with the act of going fast.

In the past bikes of this capacity use to look ugly but Yamaha doesn't do ugly, do they? This is definitely a looker and if I was back in highschool (and lived in Europe) and wanted to impress some girl in my class, I would definitely buy this.

Sure it can be exiting, it won't be slow at speed under 60-70mps, and the corner speed that nimble and light bike can carry will humble the big bikes on the slow corners. Thats a great starter's bike for a 16 year old.
