I got the polished tips, no issues, with the cab I would do the quiet version, really sounds good. They had a thread with a video on 6 speed, might try their website as well. www.fabspeed.com

No, I didn't look at the TA's. I believe those are 20" and they are heavier than stock - makes no sense to me to do that. Spacers were not needed with the champion wheels.

They have them in 19"'s too. 8.5x19", 11x19"...But CEC seems to steer you towards the 20's/ CEC on TechArts for the 997 Turbo:

Heavier than stock, you mean for the 20's vs the 19's or just heavier period? They look heavy but look really strong. But I think I prefer the Champions that you got, shows off the PCCB's & the PCCB disc assembly better imo. I'm getting psyched, I had a Turbo (coupe) & had a Cabrio (997 S cab) but have wanted a Turbo Cabrio for a few years now, almost pulled the trigger on a 996 Turbo S but decided to wait for the 997 Turbo & the thought of the Cabrio Turbo w/ the Champion wheels & a nice after-market exhaust is giving me the goose bumps!

Thanks I'll look into the Cargraphic too. So what you're saying is that you decided against the Europipe because it would be too loud w/ 100 cell cats??? My car is going to be a Cabriolet. I'm really disappointed w/ the stock sound so that's why I'm obviously looking for an after-market exhaust & thought about waiting for the Porsche Turbo PSE but if I'm spending $ on an exhaust may as well pick up some small performance gains & decrease weight at the same time right? But since it is a Cabriolet naturally it's going to sound louder than a Coupe so while I want a better sound I also want it to be acceptable for using everyday...I'm more for louder though, something just slightly louder than the PSE on my 997 S cab would be perfect.
I decided not to wait for the EP because of the 100 cats and the more likelyhood of emission problems, especially here in CA, you might be fine in NY. I don't think EP is louder than CG loud in fact I don't think anything is even close except straight/bypass pipes. you need to listen to one in person if possible and I think you'll love it with the cab

I've known the owner of my local gas station for the last 23 yrs so I don't remember the last time my sports cars were ever tested, he gives me the inspection sticker's each year and I put them on myself at home so that I can be as anal as I want and line the inspection sticker up w/ my regi. sticker. When there is left over glue on the windshield or they're crooked it makes me nuts.
You don't think the CG Loud may be too loud for a Cabrio. that is used to commute?

It is a matter of personal taste, I thought the OEM exhaust did not belong to a car with such performance and sometimes I even wish my CG was even louder but that's just my opinion. Since the FS is more available I would listen to it in person and if you thought you could handle more, CG it is
.P.S. You would also want to look at power gains and weight loss for each exhaust. CG is plus 20 HP/Nm and minus 12 pounds and comes with own heat shield, some of the others don't.

Since the stock cats are 600 cpsi, I guess anything less might cause someone to have emissions concerns. I don't understand the science involved but with my EP 100 cell cats I get no CEL lights and it has stock ECU tuning. The FS 200 cell cats don't cause CEL lights either so I'm not sure what the concern is.

Didn't make a difference for me. I had the dealer install the Cargraphic exhaust, GT3 RS wheels and Hoen bulbs in the headlights and fog lights before delivery. No issues in 6K miles. I was told to save my stock exhaust in case there was a troubleshooting issue at a later date.
