    GT3 Mk2 : When will it be available ? Help please

    Hi,

    One more tim again the same interesting question :

    When do u think Porsche AG will release the gt3 mk2 rumored to have 435 PS ?



    I start thinking buying a used one (3000 KM) for march april, but i will wait till for ex september if possible to have one brand new with factory delivery etc etc....

    Please help me in my choice if someone is aware about

    Which RS? The 997 GT3 RS has the same 415 hp as the regular GT3. It must be another brand then, right?

    No standard 997RS - all I have seen have been higher than 415BHP

    Read the original post...that would make it a 2009 MY.

    Most GT3's (both RS and non-RS) make more that the advertised 415bhp.

    If u want 435 HP, FVD.usa.com has a level 2 tuning kit for 6700 USD. TUV approved. U don't have to wait that long. By 2009, there will be plenty of tuner kits to get u more than 435HP.

    thanks for trying to make me look stupid. really appreciate it. i got my MY06 carrera in 2005. if he said it would hit the shores in 2009 i thought it would be a 2010 MY.

    Most Porsche engines leave factory with + 3%bhp over listed output. Porsche themselves said actual bhp should be around 425 bhp but wouldn't quote figure on the record. Had same with 996 RS where engines were normally over 400bhp when listed as 380bhp.

    I hear end 2008 as a 2009 model... that's what happened with the 996 GT3, one year break... but Porsche is more and more into $$$, so who knows how soon... I also hear 435 bhp... but the sweet part is that same as all N/A porsches, it will have the new PDK!!! that would means a sub 4 seconds 0-60!!!
