    There is no smoke without fire...

    The are stopping production of the current GT3 in Dec, of course the GT3 MK II rumored for later next year will be facelifted...

    Not feeling it a bit!
    - Looks like the nose grew another 2 inches or so.
    - Still with those ridiculous strakes in the air intake.
    - They keep extending the nose of the 911 to act as a counter balance.

    It's really losing that 911 shape and beginning to look like swept back coupe with bubble 2/3 the way through.

    Have to agree. The Turbo's have become really boring cars - nothing like the old 930's. The old 911 Turbo's to me had a touch of "brutality" in it's wider fenders, miss that.

    I don't think the front has changed at all. Only the tail lights. Angle of headlights is the same as all 997 series as well as length of nose.

    Do you have a photo to compare this with? I don't see the difference between the current design and the facelift, as far as the front lights.

    Since the 997 FL will mimic the turbo with a turboesque front spoiler, there ist no need to change the front of the turbo, except for the new headlight design.

    Welcome back in the 60', in a Time in which the cars were Face-lifted every half year.

    Well it's not so crazy, as it was in that period, but it's not far away from that.

    Yeah, the interior of the headlight unit seems to have changed, and I don't yet like the looks. I hope this makes the foglight warts redundant.

    I'm pretty sure those are NV sensors. Quite honestly, it makes the car look cross-eyed .

    In reponse to the turbo becoming soft, the Turbo has evolved to become a superb GT car with amazing handling and the GT3 is designed for handling and trackdays, if you need raw turbocharged thrills the GT2 fills that niche.

    but unfortunately most of the GT cars have been bought by poseurs )at least the GT3, pop over to 6speedonline and have a look.

    It is the horizontal angle, not the vertical one. Quite obvious.
