Fell for CF when I got my Challenge Stradale a few years back. So loaded the interior of my 430 w/ it. Would have done a CF interior in my 997 S cab but I knew when I bought the car I was only going to keep it until the Turbo Cab came out & thought I'd wait to do it. The stuff looks ultra slick imo. Especially when mixed with added stitched leather options like when you open the door & see the outer CF sill w/ the stitched leather inner, cant say why I love the way it looks so much just know that I do.

Pictures never really do CF justice, you don't really see the CF weave but... CF int of the 599
I fell for it when I saw a Murci with the carbon package ... simply gorgeous. I did order it for my upcoming LP640 Roadster but still not sure about the turbo cab.
My dealer simply told me that because I ordered quite a few Exclusive options the build period might be extended by 3/4 weeks
I do believe this was also the fact with my 997 turbo coupé.
I'm starting to have some doubts concerning the seat backs in alu tho. I also have the PCM in alu look and a few extra details but perhaps the seats are a little bit OTT ... it is nice in my coupé but in a cab ... I dunno

That's one of the things I knew I'd miss big time, the 997 S PSE. Maybe the 997 turbo PSE will be out before we get our cars? Or hopefully soon after.

Greg, Yes, I was pretty disappointed to tell you the truth and didn't notice any imporvment over the coupe sound. Pretty dead to be honest with you. I was inside the garage and basically the sound was not there and I was pressing the gas pedal pretty damn good. My neighbor has a gallardo and the sound is just intoxicating and make you want to drive. What I don't get is how come porsche hasn't fix this. Hopefully the Porsche god's are reading and do somthing quick and come up with the damn PSE before loosing sales.

I've had the same issue re: the seat backs & pcm. I seriously thought about Alum. look but Alum. still looks just like silver paint to me & I don't like the look of paint in the interior. For small pieces like the door opener & around the steering wheel okay but for big pieces like the center consule,seat backs or pcm it doesn't look right imho. And agree in a coupe the Alum seat backs are not as apparent but in a Cabrio. they are going to be the first thing your eye goes to. I really like the way the adaptive seats look when stock, they have an H.R. Giger look to them.....But if you remove the Alum seat backs & pcm then you should probably remove the other smaller Alum. options?? Obviously my first choice is CF w/ added leather, I think it gives the interior a very high tech, sporty look. Even though we'd have twin cars obviously my own personal opinion is for CF so it's hard to tell you I would get Alum. But if you do get Alum. I would probably keep the Alum pcm but not the seatbacks for a Triple Black Cab.

I'm sure we'll both have the Turbo PSE when it comes out & hopefully it sounds somewhere near as good as the 997 S PSE. I know what you're saying, a coule of weeks ago I had my 430 in for an oil change and I was sitting in the dealers' waiting area when they started my car up and I couldn't believe it was my car, it sounded like one of their Challenge race cars and was so loud but I knew from the area of the buidling that it was my car. I don't know how Ferrari does it but they somehow manage to pass decibel levels. I still don't even have the radio stations programmed in my 430.
