Have seen same/similar car around SiliconValley roads many times....vaguely recall it's F of a frequent-repeat new F buyer....who clearly became bored w/spec'g "conventional" color schemes.... 
But, upon trade-in, this color scheme may garner a greater premium over mkt than boring/nonexclusive red/tan 430s w/girlie brakes and grandpa seats....
A smart marketer may simply ship it down to OC/SD or to FL, where many astute used F buyers reside
....some really dark tints/lowering/wheels/ECU work/louder exhausts/XXL cupholders/concealed ValentineOne&laser jammers, etc/gun compartments....and it'll work well for clubbing when one doesn't need the Escalade/Bentley....

One advantage of the generally poorly chosen color/options schemes one typically sees in both US/EU is that one can truly appreciate the relatively uncommon elegantly-spec'd, maintained, and driven 599 one occasionally sees amidst a sea of elderly POS F's and new, poorly-spec'd F's....
Considering some of the "interesting" bespoke-spec F's driven by F execs and F-affiliated racecar drivers during their forays around MC/Paris, etc, not sure CA (or the generally crass US) has a monopoly on dubious/attention-seeking taste....would anecdotally observe that MC/London are closer to LA/NYC in tastes (or lack thereof) than many in EU would care to admit.....isn't globalization great???
