Tryed to get the R8 for Testdrive
Was calling the Audi Dealer yesterday and told him I want to testdrive the R8 as after seeing more and more of this cars, I really start liking the shape.
First he told me, "if you order today, the delivery we confirm is 3rd quarter of 2010" - what, 3 years delivery time?
Second, the dealers are not allowed to register their show-room cars. They have to have always one car in the room, cant sell them before they got the next car. For testdrives, their are 12 - in words twelve!!! cars available for whole germany (kind of rediculous, isnt it).
He will now check availability and come back to me with suggestions.
Anyway - they are trying hard to produce a very rare luxury object, dont they?
