    Techart/Alternative wheels on TURBO

    Hi. My turbo is arriving Jan 1st. I want to make it a little different, can you post images of Porsche 997 Turbos with different wheels? I would appreciate any.

    I am at present considering the Techarts...............

    Help!!!!

    How do you know it is arriving Jan 1st?

    I have a Nov build slot but won't have a more accurate delivery date until the beginning of Nov!

    ...or are you deliberately not picking the car up until the 1st so you have a 2008 car?

    Alex, Im holding off collecting the car until Jan 1st so that I get an 08 car. I would guess yours will come through in January too.

    One thing you guys have to keep in mind is that the stock wheels are designed so as to cool the brakes.

    Should my delivery date turn out to be the last week in Dec then sure I will hold out until Jan 1st. Any earlier than this then there is just no way I will be able to wait

    It will still be an MY08 car and have a personalized plate on it so it won't be overly obvious that the car was registered in 2007.

    GT3RS wheels, which have wide body offsets, look great on a Turbo. Check out this link of a Cobalt TT with RS wheels.

    I'll have a hard time saying goodbye to the slatty stock wheels. Why? Because Porsche _finally_ painted them to hide the brake dust.

    Stock wheels are nice (not bad) so unless I can find a wheel I like more that is also _colored_ to hide brake dust: forget about it.

    Geez..., listen to me..., I must have gotten LAZY!
