    Generations

    Did a round of showering and bathing last weekend and shoot another set of "Generations"-pictures. Hope you like them:

    Thanks guys.

    We have built a house there and moved in last April. The view is indeed very nice. And since it is half way up a mountain, I get a very nice drive with a couple of curves every morning and evening (which is fun even with my main daily beater, a VW Golf V GTi - a very nice car btw).

    Here's a better pic to see part of the view we have.

    I have a MkV GTI as well so I know how good they are!
    I hope you have reflashed the ECU. It makes a world of difference!

    Two very popular software for GTI ECU flash is APR and GIAC. It's a very simple process, they just hook up the computer cable under your dash, upload some software onto your ECU, and bam, 188kw and 400nm of torque! I am sure there are many other software you can get in Europe.

    There is a reason why Switzerland has the highest P-car density (referring to the population) in the world

    Driving a P-car (especially a cab with the top down) on those Alpine passes is almost sensory overload - the unmatched sound of the aircooled 911 makes it even better

    How many km do you drive with the 3.2 ?

    Gorgeous pics Matt C. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful cars and what a superb view! Reminds me of the lovely scenery I enjoyed on my recent trip to Switzerland. You are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

    The 3.2 get's moved only about 5000 km a year. It is in very good condition and has only seen 48000 km in 19 years. The plan is to keep it for a loooooooooooooooong time and possibly use it at classic car events once it has officially become a classic (>30 years).

    Somewhere to the east of you and above a lake (which we can partly see from the terrace) It's about 40 minutes from Zurich.
