I personally think that some people have way too much free time:). Look - over 1300 posts on the dedicated Porsche forum and the first drive in the end of August...:)
You don't know a thing about me so please keep such comments to yourself. First drive in the end of august? So what? I'm 25 and I'm not a rich kid who can play around with daddy's money. I'll have to work to get a porsche. But it's not because you don't own a porsche that you can't discuss cars on forums with friends.
And why be so aggressive with someone you don't even know. yes, 1300 posts but at least my 5th wasn't like yours.

"That is not good, that is cheap, I better take Audi diesel..., I will save 25 grand..."
I drove my Cayenne Turbo S from Milan to Ancona with the average speed of 175 km/h. Unbelievable. My 2002 347 HP ML 55 AMG feels like total crap compare to Porsche.
The Cayenne is the best SUV that was ever made. Of course - in my opinion. But I drove and had a lot of them.
Cayenne is very stable on the road at any speeds, great power and torque at any speed, great look, great interior, comfortable in every aspect, built quality is amazing, the list is endless.
I love Cayenne. And as far as it is safe, I love passing diesel cars with 100 km/h advantage:) And yes, I know, at the time I'm passing them I pay 2 euro for 10 km more, than they do. But it is a Porsche forum, not "how to get from A to B as cheap as you can" and not 1300 messages "I drove it for the first time and I like diesel better"...
Well, I never talked about money, did I?
Never said the audi was 25k cheaper. Never talked about going from A to B.
You can love the cayenne, it's your opinion, but can I have mine?
I don't have to love every porsche product because I'm on a porsche forum.

"I'd be much happier with an S6 or an M5, although I haven't driven those."
Hillarious... Happy with something you never drove... Soooo much free time to print all the messages:). Put your energy and time into work, make money and buy a nice car.
I would've never posted message like that - there is no time in life for reading everything stupid on internet, but got about 30 insane work e-mails from the same kind of people today:) and just to switch the attention wanted to read something interesting here...
Diesel
Hillarious, hein?
I drove the audi A6 3.0 V6 TDI but I also drove the new RS4 (420bhp) so I can have a fairly good idea of what it'd be like to have an S6.
The RS4 is already ten times better than the cayenne S IMHO.
I also drove the touareg and A6 allroad. The allroad is a better drive than the touareg, and the normal A6 is better than the allroad. The higher you are, the worst the handling is. The worst the perfs are.
Yes, the cayenne handles better than the touareg by far, but what it gains in handling, it loses in comfort. The A6 does everything the cayenne does and is better built, has better interior materials, is more comfortable, handles at least as well or even better and the S6 or RS6 will outperform a cayenne S. The A6 V6 TDI is 4wd too.

Leather on the dash...
It is not leather, my friend, it is plastic. Still better looking than in a diesel Audi. But may be vibration in the diesel Audi makes people forget about looking at the interior?:)
I don't fell the love here. "...my friend" ? I don't think I even know you.
If it's plastic, than it does not belong in porsche. A 25k audi A3 had a better interior. I think you never sit in an audi to say that a cayenne has a better interior than an audi.
the engine is as smooth as a petrol one. Try it. I bet you did not. So how can you know if you have not driven one? Oh wait, what you said? "Hillarious..."
It's not because you have a cayenne that everyone has to love it.
It's not because I'm on a porsche forum that I have to love every porsche
It's not because I have a different opinion than you on SUVs in general that you have to talk to me like you do. We can exchange opinions without adding such comments. It's not pleasant for any of us.
I hope we can start over without the sarcasm. It's up to you.
