    A few pics from the Nurburgring this weekend,,,

    Just thought you'd be interested.













    This GT3 lost concentration a little and went over the kerb onto the grass, over corrected and hit the Armco barrier on the opposite side. Not too much damage thank god, as he later recovered and continued.







    Caught this guy all 4 wheels off the ground...

    Thanks for the comments guys. I'm still learning with the DSLR, but unpredictable light was causing me a few issues, particularly shutter speed...anyway glad you enjoyed them.

    I'm sure I heard the passenger shout some expletives when they launched off the crest.

    I wish I was there with you as 2 days isn't long enough especially for a 500 mile (each way) journey.

    Thanks Mike, and yes, loads more. A lot are blurry due to low light but i'll post some of the more acceptable ones.

    I'm no good with names or their location as yet, but all (except pic 2) were taken at Pflanzgarten I think.



    No. 2 was on the straight just before a left hander which goes over a bridge (over the 257 - Trierer Strasse).



    More pics to follow, once I've reduced them...

    So is this car actually available for sale? Just read the article on the Gumpert site. It says Bugatti engineers love it, and Pagani himself wants one. That is pretty high praise indeed.

    Actually Roland Gumpert (former head of AUDI 's sports division) sold about a dozen of the Apollo MKI last year.

    BTW Walter Röhrl after a testdrive said: "Very impressive, not to say scary..."

    The car on the Ring should be the Apollo MK II (not sure whether Gumpert sold one already).

    BTW @ 270 km/h the car creates more downforce than it's own weight
