The polished stainless dual tips were a factory option on the standard Carrera, and were available separately or included with PSE. They were also offered as a Tequipment DIO.
The tips were likewise optional on the C4S, which came equipped with Turbo-style ovals.

As you can see on the pics, the exhaust is exactly the revers of what the factory tips has: On the factory, the outer pipe is whole, and the inner pipe looks attached to it. In the first pic, the inner pipe is whole, and the outer is attached to it. So either the tips are mounted wron side, or they are other tips.

That's a good point! I like your attention to detail.
I'm unsure about this, but I think that maybe both the Carrera's and the C4S's tips were made to mimic the forms of the respective stock versions.
Notice that the pipes on the C4S tend to resemble the standard Turbo-style half-ovals, and the Carrera's tips trace the elliptical outline of the original pieces.
Again, I'm not certain, but it's possible that Porsche offered a unique style for each vehicle. Actually, it's probable, considering that the cutouts in the lower bumpers were shaped differently, and it wouldn't be cost-effective to design a different rear fascia around something as relatively minor as a pair of exhaust outlets.
