    New car owner pics??

    You can tell there are x3 less coupe owners for MY08 than MY07 as there have hardly been any new car owners pics recently. There have been more used car new owners from what I have seen.

    I am obviously waiting for my Cobalt beauty to arrive in December (maybe even end of Nov) but I am dying to see some Ruby Red or Turbo Cab pics to keep me sane in meantime. When do you think these will start coming through?

    Anyway, here's some Turbo pics I took myself recently to pass away the hours...

    Cobalt > Standard Black > GT Silver > Midnight Blue > Standard White

    Yes flat black looks absolutely stunning when new with no swirls in the paint and no layer of dirt/dust.

    Actually, the guy that was picking this car up, there day I was there, still hadn't arrived a few hours after he was supposed to.

    On the day mine is due to arrive I plan to be at my OPC in first thing in the morning just in case it turns up early!!! It's not like I am going to sleep the night before anyway...

    Me being late to collect, NO CHANCE!

    I know how you feel. When I was waiting for my car I was on all the boards hoping that someone would post pics of their new car. I can't tell you all the time I spent looking at and saving pictures of every option.

    I'm starting to think Black is the next color for me, after two GR. Just not sure if I can stomach the dust show. Black hides the overdone geometry of the lines on this car better, and I just love GR, but when I see pics in Black, it just seems right.

    I really hate it when someone posts pics of cobalt. I decided on white (at least I told myself I did) but whenever I see cobalt I think: "yep, that's the one." I've still never personally seen it the in daylight, though - only under artifical lighting.

    BTW, I really like flat black, too - which is why I bought my piano in that color. Nothing like the shine of a good flat black!

    It means they are used cars, sold back to the OPC where they then undergo a 111 point inspection. Then the OPC puts a few $$$$ on the price over what they paid for it.

    Thanks for the nice pics Alex. My meteor coupe is supposed to go into production next week (placed my order in February) but the dealer says expect 9 long weeks MINIMUM for the car to transit to Sydney. So we may be posting pics of our new babies about the same time!? Too long to wait but what a nice Christmas present! Good luck!

    Yes, i like my black one and after 6 weeks and 6000km it's still like new, so the black seems to be quite reliable.

    That's the view from the casino where you sit and eat your porsche menue while you are waiting to get your new babe..... It's the new museum

    Cheers Chris. Yes, I think I probably have the largest collection of 997 pictures (and interiors) on the planet right now.

    Just did a folder count: anyone else beat 1366 pictures?

    ...about 700 of which are 997 Turbo coupes

    ...and about 50 are of Jason's car

    Gotta love cobalt! Atomic, Over the Hill and I to name a few have cobalt TT's. I've owned silver, black and white but this is my first "colored" car in awhile. It's looking better every day. It also doesn't have quite the stigma as speed yellow or guards red.

    But I agree with MMD, I'd like two TT's in every color( i.e. one cab and one coupe)!
