With a little luck, Alonso could have had as many titles as Vettel, but he chased the dollars at McLaren/Honda, oh well.
But those 2 in pure driver's skills is slightly behind Hamilton. Hamilton is best driver of this generation no doubt. Best example is looking at rain races, the water neutralizes any advantage a faster car have and showcase pure driving skills. Hamilton is heads and shoulder above either Alonso and Vettel. Especially when Alonso had times in the same Caras Hamilton when they were teammates a McLaren.
Max is closest to Hamilton in car control skills, Giving him a great car and he will be the next generation's greatest.
